The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has informed residents about a planned water outage on Friday, September 20. The outage will last for 12 hours, starting from 11 am. This is due to necessary repair work at the Chandrawal Water Works, which is situated at the Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial in Civil Lines.
The DJB posted an update on X, explaining that there will be repairs to a major water pipe, known as the 500mm diameter Rising Main, at Chandrawal Water Works. Because of this work, the supply of drinking water will be interrupted in some areas for the entire duration of the repair, from 11:00 AM onwards.
