On Monday morning, the Delhi Police got two calls from the Chief Minister’s house in Civil Lines. They said a person who claimed to be Swati Maliwal from AAP called for help, saying she was attacked. In one call at about 9:30 AM, the person said someone from the Chief Minister’s team named Bibhav Kumar assaulted her. However, the police couldn’t go into the Chief Minister’s house without asking first.
A senior Delhi Police officer mentioned that at 9:34 AM, they got a call from a lady saying she was attacked at the Chief Minister’s house. Later, this lady, possibly Maliwal, went to the police station but left, saying she would come back to file a complaint later.
Swati Maliwal Alleges Assault At Kejriwal Home
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a political party, shared its thoughts on what happened when AAP MP Swati Maliwal was reportedly attacked at the home of Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal. They said it’s like the chief minister’s office has turned into a place for fights.
The leader of BJP in Delhi, Virendra Sachdeva, said this incident is really sad and reminded everyone that similar bad things have happened at Kejriwal’s home before. He mentioned a time when the top bureaucrat of Delhi was also reportedly attacked there.

Swati Maliwal Seeks Meeting with Arvind Kejriwal
This morning, Swati Maliwal went to the Chief Minister’s residence at around 9:10 AM to meet Arvind Kejriwal but was not allowed to meet him by his staff. Subsequently, at 9:31 AM, she contacted the police control room for help, and her call was redirected to the North control room at 9:34 AM.
According to information obtained by India Today TV, there were two calls made to the police from the Chief Minister’s residence. In the first call, the caller reported a fight between the Chief Minister and his aide, Bibhav Kumar.
After the second call, the police updated their records to reflect that a woman caller stated she was at the Chief Minister’s House, where he allegedly instructed his aide, Bibhav Kumar, to assault her.
Bibhav Kumar, who served as a personal assistant to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, was dismissed from his position last month. This followed his interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with charges of obstructing government work.
Swati Maliwal’s Encounter with Police
Officers from the North control room quickly responded to a call at the Chief Minister’s house, and the Station House Officer (SHO) also arrived soon after.
Following discussions with the SHO, Maliwal agreed to go to the police station, as per police sources. During this time, reports of an assault on Maliwal began circulating.
After questioning, Swati Maliwal left the police station, sources confirmed. No formal complaint has been made yet.
Responding to the incident, Amit Malviya, the BJP IT Cell in-charge, posted on X, “Remember, Swati Maliwal stayed silent when Kejriwal was arrested. She wasn’t even in India at the time and was away for a while.”
Swati Maliwal, former chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women, later became a Rajya Sabha MP, nominated by the Aam Aadmi Party led by Arvind Kejriwal.
