Among the key fixtures, Mumbai Indians (MI) will clash with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) only once, on April 7 at Wankhede Stadium. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on RCB twice, March 28 in Chennai and May 3 in Bengaluru. The much-awaited CSK vs. MI showdown will also happen twice, first on March 23 in Chennai and then on April 20 in Mumbai.

IPL 2025 Alternate Venues
The IPL 2025 season will feature matches beyond the 10 primary venues, with Guwahati, Dharamsala, and Vizag serving as additional locations.
- Guwahati will be Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) alternate home ground, hosting their first two matches. Sanju Samson-led RR will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 26, followed by a clash with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on March 30.
- Vizag returns as Delhi Capitals’ (DC) alternate venue, a role it played in IPL 2024 due to general elections. DC will face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 24 and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 30.
