- After the flag is unfurled, it will receive a ‘Rashtriya Salute’.
- The Punjab Regiment Military Band will perform the National Anthem.
- Flower petals will be dropped from two Advanced Light Helicopters Dhruv of the Indian Air Force in a Line Astern Formation.
- The Prime Minister will then address the Nation.
- The ceremony will conclude with the National Anthem sung by 2,000 National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets from various schools across the country.
