The conflict began when Sagar Thakur, known as Maxtern online, made comments about Elvish Yadav’s meeting with Munawar Faruqui, winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2.
This sparked a physical altercation where Yadav allegedly assaulted Thakur, leading to a police report. The incident was documented on their social media channels and captured in a video.

The Gurugram Police sent a notification to Elvish Yadav, a social media influencer and winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, requesting his cooperation in investigating the case involving the physical assault of YouTuber Sagar Thakur at a garment shop in Delhi.
This notice, issued by the Sector 53 Police Station, falls under Section 41A of the Criminal Procedure Code. Yadav has been asked to appear at the police station on March 12th.
According to ACP Sadar Kapil Ahlawat, a case has been filed against eight to ten individuals, including Elvish Yadav, and an ongoing investigation is in progress.
After the incident, Thakur filed a complaint against Elvish Yadav, alleging that Yadav attempted to injure him severely. The FIR, registered in Gurugram’s Sector 53, lists charges under IPC sections 147, 149, 323, and 506 for rioting, unlawful assembly, causing hurt, and criminal intimidation.

Thakur claimed Yadav’s intention was to cause him physical harm, even attempting to break his spine. The attack occurred late at night on March 8, 2024, at a shopping mall in Gurugram’s Sector 53. Before leaving the scene, Yadav threatened Thakur with death, leaving him nearly unconscious.
