Importantly, Jun has stressed that the focus of this event will solely be on showcasing technology, with no introduction of new products.
As a reminder, Xiaomi recently introduced its first electric vehicle, the SU7, in China. The Electric Vehicle SU7 is an electric sedan available in two variations: one with Lidar and the other without, as reported by HT Auto.
Buyers can choose between two powertrain options, namely Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD). Upon its release, the electric sedan will be offered in three different variants: SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max.

Xiaomi, renowned for its budget-friendly smartphones, aims to compete with the performance of Porsche’s Taycan Turbo and the technological features of Tesla’s Model S. The starting price for the Model S is 698,900 yuan, while the Taycan begins at 898,000 yuan.
Anticipated to be priced between 200,000 yuan and 300,000 yuan (equivalent to ₹25 to ₹35 lakh based on currency exchange), the SU7 is generating high expectations. Xiaomi has not disclosed the pricing details for the SU7.
When Xiaomi EV SU7 will be Available to Purchase?
Xiaomi sales are expected to commence next year. This vehicle will be manufactured in a Beijing factory by a branch of the state-owned automaker BAIC Group, which has an annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles.
