BJP Appoints Mohan Charan Majhi as Odisha’s Next Chief Minister
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced Mohan Charan Majhi, age 52, as the new chief minister of Odisha. Majhi will be the third tribal leader to hold this position, following Hemanand Biswal and Giridhar Gamang. His oath ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
