The Mumbai police arrested two suspects linked to the shooting at actor Salman Khan’s home from Bhuj, Gujarat, on Monday.
The suspects, Vicky Sahab Gupta, 24, and Sagar Shrijogendra Pal, 21, hail from Masihi, Bihar.
Sources reveal that the police found both individuals, connected to the shooting outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence, in Bhuj, Gujarat. They are scheduled to be brought back to Mumbai on Tuesday morning.
Bike Shooters Arrested in Salman Khan Firing Incident
The Mumbai Crime Branch apprehended two suspects in connection with the recent shooting incident outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s home in Bandra West. The alleged shooters were nabbed in Bhuj, Gujarat, late Monday night.
According to officials from the Mumbai Police, both suspects fled Mumbai after the shooting and were later captured in Bhuj. They have been identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal.
Following their arrest, the authorities plan to transfer the suspects back to Mumbai for further interrogation.
The shooting took place at 5 am on Sunday outside Salman’s residence, Galaxy Apartments. Two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle fired shots before fleeing the scene.
Describing the incident as a carefully orchestrated attack, the Mumbai Crime Branch highlighted CCTV footage showing one of the suspects firing towards Salman Khan’s residence.

Early Sunday morning, two men on bikes fired shots near Galaxy Apartments in Bandra but quickly fled. Thankfully, no one was hurt, including Salman Khan who was home at the time.
Police investigations revealed the shooters ditched their bike near a church, then used an autorickshaw to reach Bandra railway station. From there, they traveled to Santacruz by train, then took another auto-rickshaw.
On social media, Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack. Bishnoi and another wanted gangster, Goldie Brar, have a history of threatening Salman Khan. It’s believed they sent the shooters to Mumbai.
The beef between Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and Salman traces back to a 1998 incident involving the hunting of blackbucks, an animal revered by the Bishnoi community.
Bishnoi Gang’s Threat to Salman Khan
The Bishnoi gang, known for its violent history, is allegedly connected to the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Anmol, a member of the gang, recently posted on Facebook about seeking peace but being ready for war against oppression.
He also warned Salman, suggesting that the gang possesses considerable power. Anmol mentioned having two pet dogs named after infamous figures, Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel, and ended with a religious phrase. Salman Khan has not responded yet.
Last year, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) revealed that Salman Khan was a top target for jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This stems from an incident in 1998 when Salman was involved in hunting a black buck, which offended the Bishnoi community according to the gangster.
