After thorough investigation, Mumbai Police have concluded that the accusation against steel tycoon Sajjan Jindal for rape, made by an actress, was untrue. The police submitted their findings in a closure report to the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate Court, asserting that the complaint was an attempt to falsely implicate the accused.

The report highlights that the complaint was lodged long after the alleged incident, and despite assurances from the complainant to provide evidence, none has been forthcoming. The police note that even though the complaint was filed through a female officer, the promised evidence has not been presented.
