Political Figures Slam BJP’s LPG Cylinder Announcement
NCP (SCP) MP Supriya Sule criticized the announcement as a political tactic.
“It’s not surprising. Look at the timing. They’ve been in power for 9 years. Why didn’t they do this sooner? Just as the election approaches, it seems like another political slogan. In our government, the cylinder price was ₹430. Why can’t they match that?” she remarked.
Congress spokesperson Surendra Rajput accused the BJP of deceitful pricing.
“The BJP cleverly sells LPG cylinders for ₹395 but charges ₹1000, then PM Modi announces a mere ₹100 reduction,” Rajput stated.
Samajwadi Party Mahila Sabha national president Juhie Singh labeled PM Modi’s Ujwala Yojna as deceptive.
“Mahadev sees how people are being fooled by the BJP. Cylinder prices keep rising. PM Modi should not just visit the sponsored parts of villages but also see how Ujwala Yojna is misleading. Empowering women economically is crucial for societal development,” she emphasized.
