Alongside Lok Sabha elections, assembly elections will be held in Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and Odisha, with bypolls in 26 assembly segments. A staggering 97 crore people are eligible to vote at over 10.5 lakh polling stations.

Last time, in 2019, Lok Sabha polls started on April 11, following the announcement on March 10, and concluded in seven phases, with vote counting on May 23.
