Colonel Waibhav Tragic Death in Gaza

The United Nations, an organization that works for peace and cooperation among countries, has said sorry and expressed sadness to India. They did this because a former officer from the Indian Army, Colonel Waibhav Anil Kale, was killed in a place called Rafah in Gaza. Rafah is a region where there’s a lot of fighting and conflict.

Colonel Kale wasn’t in the army anymore. He started working for the United Nations just two months ago. He was supposed to make sure things were safe for everyone in the UN. But sadly, while he was going to a hospital in Rafah with another person from the UN, their vehicle was hit by bullets.

They were attacked, probably by a tank from Israel, another country in that area. Colonel Kale was killed in the attack, and the other person, who was from Jordan, got hurt. It’s a very sad event.
