Ayodhya Ram Mandir Holiday: On January 22, 2024, many states have granted a day off to their employees to celebrate the inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. The central government has also declared a half-day for its offices and PSU banks.
According to a notification from the finance ministry, all central government offices, institutions, and industrial establishments will be closed until 2:30 pm on January 22.

Uttar Pradesh:
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered the closure of educational institutions, and liquor shops will be shut throughout the state on the same day.
Madhya Pradesh:
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has declared a school Ram Mandir Holiday and urged people to celebrate the day like a festival. Additionally, a dry day has been announced, closing all shops, including liquor and Bhang outlets.
Goa:
Government employees and schools in Goa will have a holiday on January 22 due to the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
Haryana:
The Haryana government has declared the closure of schools on January 22 due to the Ram Temple Inauguration. Liquor consumption will not be permitted anywhere in the state on that day.
Odisha:
Odisha government offices will be closed for half a day on January 22 for the Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya.
Assam:
