Daniel Balaji initially worked as a unit production manager in Kamal Haasan’s project ‘Marudhunayagam’. Later, he ventured into television with the series ‘Chithhi’, where his character’s name became his screen identity, Daniel Balaji.

He gained recognition for his performances in films like ‘Kakka Kakka’ and ‘Vettaiyadu Vilayadu’.

His journey in the movies began in 2022 with the Tamil film ‘April Madhathil’. Besides Tamil cinema, he appeared in various Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada productions.

His final appearance was in the film ‘Ariyavan’.

Renowned Tamil actor, Daniel Balaji, tragically passed away from a heart attack last night in a Chennai hospital. He experienced chest pain and was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital, but sadly, medical efforts were unsuccessful. Daniel, aged 48, has left his fans and the Tamil film community in deep sorrow.

His body has been brought to his home in Purasaiwalkam for the final ceremonies. Today, March 30, many from the Tamil film fraternity are expected to pay their respects.

Balaji, remembered for his remarkable performances in movies like Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu and Polladhavan, left behind a legacy cherished by many.
