“We’re certainly planning to bring back Daya’s character. The characters are distinct, and Disha is the talented performer behind that role, receiving immense love from the audience. Maintaining a positive mindset is always beneficial,” he added.
“We don’t know what the future holds. If she returns, it’s fantastic, considering she is also occupied with her two kids and family life. However, we have plans to reintroduce Daya’s character soon,” Asit continued. The producer emphasized that there is no discord, whether financial or personal, with Disha.
“Her focus is on her family life; there’s no other reason, be it financial or otherwise. She’s like a sister to me,” stated the producer, whose show holds the Guinness World Record for the longest-running Indian daily sitcom on television by episode count.
