Neeraj Pandey Criticizes De-Ageing Technology
Neeraj Pandey criticized the use of de-ageing technology in a recent News 18 interview. When asked why he didn’t use VFX to make Ajay and Tabu look younger instead of casting younger actors like Shantanu and Saiee, he described it as an ‘abuse of technology’ and felt it would have appeared ‘ridiculous.’
According to him, the decision to cast different actors for different age groups was intentional to better fit the story, emphasizing how people’s appearances naturally change as they age past 24.
