VHP spokesperson Vinod Bansal exposed a fraudulent social media page on X (formerly known as Twitter), claiming to be “Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Chhetra Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.” This page, complete with a QR Code Scam, is soliciting funds in the name of contributing to the construction of the Ram Temple. Stay vigilant and avoid being duped by this misleading scheme.
Reporting the issue to the Union Home Ministry and the police heads of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, Bansal emphasized in his complaint that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has consistently stated that no private individuals are permitted to solicit funds for the temple.
In the midst of the nationwide celebration of the Ram temple inauguration, Bansal urged swift action against fraudulent activities. He expressed concern that some individuals are attempting to deceive people by creating fake IDs in the name of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra.
In a message directed to @HMOIndia, @CPDelhi, @dgpup, and @Uppolice on X (formerly Twitter), Bansal called for immediate measures, highlighting that @ShriRamTeerth has not granted authorization to anyone for fundraising on this occasion.

The consecration ceremony at the Ram Mandir kicks off on January 16 and runs through January 22, lasting seven days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the installation of the grand temple’s idol. The event is drawing attention from various dignitaries and people from different backgrounds.
In the meantime, PM Modi has urged devotees not to visit the temple on January 22, the consecration day. Instead, he suggested lighting a diya at home. He emphasized the need to wait until after January 23 to visit, as accommodating everyone on the consecration day poses logistical and security challenges.
